The newest release of Torontos only official "Green P App" from the Toronto Parking Authority makes parking easier and faster than ever. Available for on-street parking, all non-gated off-street carparks, and now at participating gated carparks. Skip fumbling for change or waiting at a machine by using the app to pay for parking in seconds.

With this update, you can now start and pay for gated parking sessions by simply scanning a QR code at the entry gate. When you’re ready to leave, the app will automatically calculate your total and let you exit seamlessly, all without needing a paper ticket.

Set up your profile quickly and pay using Apple Pay, PayPal, or your credit card. Plus, the app will notify you when your parking time is about to expire, so you can extend it remotely if needed.

Green P app good for

Simple, fast, easy to use. Works as advertised. I wish it worked for street parking as well. Very useful if you drive around the city of Toronto.
I LOVE THIS APP I LOVE IT WITH ALL MY BEING EXCEPTTTTT when it says you have to extend by a minimum of 30 minutes. The minimum should be 10 minutes. OKAY I AM BACK TO BEING IN LOVE WITH IT
Best app ever. Changed my life. I can start my overnight street parking at 8 a.m. without getting out of bed!!! Works perfectly.
I love this app. Convenient, simple, straightforward app I use multiple times a day for parking around Toronto.
Just needs to be simple and work. And it does just that. Yay!
Works well in iOS. Had this in blackberry and it sucked a**. Doesnt work on every OS, but when it works it works well. No more parking tickets!

Some bad moments

This app seriously needs a lot of work. Still crashes telephone support is very poor waited over 15 minutes for someone to come to the phone after it repeatedly rang and rang and rang. Also dont understand why you have to be in session to load or reload your GreenP account, that takes too much time when youre on the go
Green P has once again disappointed me as they require you to deposit a minimum of $20 dollars on your account before you can park. This allows Green P a gold mine of a company to earn interest on all this sitting cash and incur minimum transaction fees. Brutal if you ask me. #fuckgreenp
I havent been able to use this for months as the app crashes as soon as it opens It was good when I first used it a year ago. Need to get this fixed
Requiring a $20 min prepay is ridiculous. Green P should not be holding balances but rather simply facilitating on demand charges via the app at any amount. Same as if paying by machine.
I like the idea of the app. However, so far I had to pay a full hour as minimum parking as well as extend only by one hour. What if I need 15 minutes or 30 minutes?
Great app. Well designed, good clear functionality and the timer is AWESOME! no more parking tickets for me....!
